And So It Goes

You can judge a nation’s self righteousness

By the kind of laws it creates.

You can judge its hypocrisy

By which laws it enforces.

And how they enforce them.

We’ve seen it .

We’ve experienced it.

We even condone it.

We do so little about it.

We are the nation.

If we didn’t allow it

It wouldn’t happen.

And yet we do

And so it does.

And so it goes.
